we can heal not only ourselves,

and our world.

Inspirational Video Must Watch! Being RICH is not about how much you have, but its about how much you can GIVE!
Being rich is not about how much you have, but its about how much you can give to others. This quote on this inspiring Singaporean short film drama moved me and let me ponder, digging into the depths of my core values, beliefs and principles in life.
The scenario in this film depicts a concrete example of a hardworking father who kept himself busy for work in order to provide a good life to his son. Due to his preoccupations to find a living, he was not able to spend time bonding with his son and show affection as well. He was misunderstood by his son when his love language was primarily that of service.
On the part of the son, he represents a number of children in our generation who seem to overlook showing love, care and appreciation to their parents. Those who felt ashamed of their parents because they are poor and less educated.
Let us not live life with regrets on the chances that we didn't take. Remember that life is too short, so we better do stuffs that matters. And that is to live, to love and to leave a legacy.
Let us not forget God's promise to us that when we honor our parents, He will grant us a long, full life in our stay here in this world.

Quote About Prayer | By Saint Therese

Prayer is, for me, an outburst from the heart;
it is a simple glance darted upwards to Heaven;
it is a cry of gratitude and of love
in the midst of trial as in the midst of joy!
In a word, it is something exalted, supernatural,
which dilates the soul and unites it to God.
Sometimes when I find myself,
spiritually, in dryness so great
that I cannot produce a single good thought,
I recite very slowly a Pater or an Ave Maria;
these prayers alone console me,
they suffice, they nourish my soul.

“Life is difficult.
This is a great truth,
one of the greatest truths.
It is a great truth because
once we truly see this truth,
we transcend it.
Once we truly know that life is difficult;
once we truly understand and accept it;
then life is no longer difficult.
Because once it is accepted,
the fact that life is difficult
no longer matters.”

Attitude | By Charles R. Swindoll
ATTITUDE
By Charles R. Swindoll
By Charles R. Swindoll
“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past. We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.”
